Michael Rapp Joins Periscope-Backed Praecipio Consulting as CEO

Chicago, IL—(March 3, 2022). Periscope Equity is pleased to announce that its portfolio company Praecipio Consulting, a leading IT services and business process management consulting firm, has placed Michael Rapp as its Chief Executive Officer.

Rapp is a seasoned technology leader with more than 25 years of experience building and leading a diverse portfolio of technology companies. With a passion for developing diverse corporate cultures, Rapp has led organizations— from start-ups to multi-billion-dollar companies—through accelerated growth and transformation. Most recently, Rapp was the CEO of Champion One, a leading designer, marketer, and supplier of optical networking components, where he led an accelerated growth plan culminating in the successful sale to Legrand. He has also held key senior leadership positions at En Pointe IT Solutions, PCM, Software Spectrum, and Admor Memory.
