Periscope Equity Hires Jonathan Levinsky as Head of Talent to Join Operations Team

Chicago, IL – Periscope Equity, a Chicago-based private equity firm that invests in lower-middle market, technology-enabled business services companies, announced today the appointment of Jonathan Levinsky as Head of Talent, a newly created role to partner with our investment teams on talent management strategies.

In this role, Levinsky will lead all aspects of portfolio company human capital value creation, including executive recruiting, leadership development, and performance management. Levinsky will continue to cultivate Periscope’s network of executives by driving the expansion of Periscope’s operating partner network. The addition of Levinsky as Head of Talent bolsters the capabilities of the Firm’s Operations Team and positions Periscope to further support the growth and scaling of its portfolio companies.

Levinsky brings nearly a decade of executive search experience, including leadership roles at Roo Partners, True Search, and Lantern Partners, where he focused on recruiting executive leadership for investor-backed portfolio companies across services and technology sectors.

Previously, Jonathan began his career as a technology and performance improvement consultant at Deloitte. He earned a BS in Economics and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from George Washington University.
