Sentrics Acquires Silversphere to Enrich Senior Living Capabilities

Based in Daytona Beach, Florida, Silversphere delivers a suite of interconnected solutions to senior living communities that detect, alert and predict resident needs that help caregivers deliver proactive care and prevent emergencies. Silversphere joins Allen Technologies, an innovator in patient engagement within acute care hospitals, Ciscor, a leading supplier of emergency call and monitoring solutions, and SeniorTV, a national leader for affordable cable TV and internet to the long term care industry.

Herman L. Dawson founded the company later named Silversphere in 1945 believing that technology would change lives. Brian Dawson, grandson of the Silversphere founder, and Chief Executive Officer of the company, will remain as President and will have an expanded role leading the company’s senior-focused culture for Sentrics as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer.
